Location: In Bang Lung Townlet, Cho Don District, Bac Kan Province.

Characteristics: ATK comprises of a system of underground tunnels with strong defense works able to withstand bombs and bullets.

ATK is the abbreviation for “An Toan Khu”, meaning “safe zone”. This strictly protected zone was constructed during the war against the French and encompasses a underground system of tunnels reinforced with strong defense works so that they were able to withstand bombs and bullets. These remains will be renovated to become an attractive tourist site.
