Located about 6km from Bac Lieu center, the longan garden of Bac Lieu is famous for the big fruit, thick and fleshy pulp, small seed, and its sweetness and perfume. Highly raised by the sea for years, garden area has been spread from Nha Mat Ward to An Trach Dong Commune.
It was grown over 100 years ago. To protect the gardens from the sabotage of the bats, farmers turn the lights on all night. This makes the gardens like the city scenes at night.
